Bar Keepers Friend

I’m often asked how to get rid of lime scale. A water softener would do this, but as we know the cost for one of theses is quite high.

I recently discovered Bar Keepers Friend. I thought it was excellent when I saw you could get this at Farmers. We purchased both the powder and spray. The powder is mixed into a paste and you just go over the lime scale with the paste on a soft cloth. It did take quite a bit of elbow grease, however, the result was amazing. We tried out on our shower glad with the same result. Now we just use the spray to keep on top of it.
