Ceiling Leak

This was a recent leak that had shown up on a ceiling.

When checking the leak it appeared totally dry to the touch. The roof space was inaccessible due to a shallow pitch roof. After a few questions, it was apparent that when we have driving rain from the west the leak appears. As the ceiling was in need of repair, I cut a hole to remove the stained patch. There was a hole in the roof underneath the gully flashing, the driving rain is then seeping into the hole and dripping through the ceiling.
