Connector Toilet Suite
When installing a replacement toilet suite, there are a few things to consider.
Many older properties have old style toilets and trying to keep to a budget without breaking the bank may be problematic. Problems that arise are the set out for the soil pipe, modern toilet installations are generally 140mm from the wall, older style toilets can be 300mm plus. There are ways and means to overcome this with a different pan connector. Another problem is where the water inlet is located. On the older installations, they are generally behind the pan, therefore this may be in the way to fit a back to wall toilet. Again there are ways and means to overcome this by moving the water inlet. Vent pipes are generally ugly, but sometimes necessary. These can be replaced with an air admittance valve, but these situations are very limiting to the style of toilet that can be installed.
