Wet Back Connection.

Installation of wet back pipe work.

The fire box had previously been removed bye someone else. Due to the height for the finished wooden floor the hearth also had to be raised. The pipe work was then 20mm too low for the wet back flow and return to operate correctly. These pipes need to be on a gradient so that the hot water rises and the cold descends. After cutting out a piece of gib to access the pipe work, I then had to cut the pipe work and remake the connections onto the revolve pipes. I don’t do a lot of braising copper pipe work, however, I do enjoy it.
