Back breaking trench.

To install this water filter, I tried digging in front of the board to find the water main.

Unfortunately the water main was so deep I tried a different approach, digging up the water meter to expose the water main. I eventually found the pipe which was about 1.2m deep. This only needs to be 450mm as there is no traffic going over the top of the pipe location. After digging the trench to where I had located the water filter. The hook up was relatively easy, by cutting into the water main and making connections to and from the filter. A bit of a sore back once I’d finished, but that’s the nature of there beast!
