Roof Leaks.
Roof leaks can be hard to find and tricky to fix.
This particular leak was entering the inside of the building in a different area to where the leak was identified. Water was tracking on the underside of the roof, where it came into contact with another roof penetration, this being the vent pipe. The water then tracked down the pipe causing damage to the gibbed ceiling and surrounding areas. After looking around the vent penetration on the roof, it was clear that this was not the cause. Taking a further look around I noticed that the sealant had ruptured on a penetration nearly 2m away. After cleaning the area of old sealant and resealing, the next rainfall proved the integrity of the repair.
