Toilet replacement.

Toilet installation.

Modern toilets are not always best suited for the older style toilets.

There is a lot to consider when replacing a toilet. On the older set ups, quite often the water supply and waste don’t meet the requirements of a modern day pan. You may have to move the water supply and soil pipe to get them to meet. Not good if your on a budget, as their are the additional costs in labour, materials, replacement of lino and decoration. In this case the soil pipe was 295mm from the wall, way to far for either a back to wall or connector toilet suite. The customer did not want to replace the floor. I have used this set up quite a few times now, incorporating a china cistern for the more modern look. Unfortunately it doesn’t come as a package, meaning the pan, cistern and seat have to be purchased seperately. This does increase the cost, but is a lot cheaper than replacing floors, gib and redecoration.
