Water Meter

Quite often I arrive to do work at a house and cannot isolate the water because the isolation valve at the meter is broken.

Water meters are council property and a quick call to the council and they will send out their water team to replace the meter or valve. Just the same if the meter is leaking. They generally sort the problem within 3 working days, depending on how busy they are.
