DIY Plumbing

I was called out to repair a leak on a sink and this is what I found.

As soon as I saw this, it shouted out DIY plumbing. The leak was from where the red arrow points. How do you remove the pipe work without having to cut it out. The blue arrow shows the direction of flow through the junction to the trap below, all good. The green arrow shows the flow from the half sink that has to go back on itself to get to the trap, not so good. This has the potential to cause blockages and will certainly impair the flow whilst draining. It is illegal to carry out sanitary plumbing unless you hold the correct license to do so.

Don’t get caught out, give me a call. Meeting your plumbing needs.
