Do It Yourself Plumbing Part 2.

Upside down trap

It’s amazing what you see when carrying out repairs.

My last blog shows a DIY job on the sink waste water pipe work. The same job was the this trap. To the trained eye I knew straight away it had been put in upside down. A male adaptor has been placed on the waste pipe for the screwed end to connect to, this part of the trap normally screws onto the threaded waste directly under the sink. As I mentioned in my last blog, it is illegal to carry out sanitary plumbing unless you hold a professional licence to do so.

Don’t get caught out, give me a call. Meeting your plumbing needs.
