Screw through pipe.

Screw through pipe

Whilst replacing a wall hung vanity I quickly realised what the original installer had done.

After disconnecting the water and waste pipes. I unscrewed the fixings that secure the vanity to the wall, only to hear the dreaded hiss of a water leak. Unfortunately the centre screw had gone straight through the pipe. The good thing is that the plastic pipe sealed around the screw and didn’t leak, had the screw not been centre it would have been a different story. Having cut out some of the timber I had enough room to get my tools in and repair the leak. My next blog I will show you the vanity after being replaced.
