In my last blog I talked about pipe insulation. As we get closer to the winter months it’s essential to protect your pipe work.

Checking to ensure that your pipe work is insulated is easy and can be done without the expense of a plumber, just a little bit of your time. As we head closer to winter and the temperature starts to drop, those bare pipes are at risk from freezing. As you can see the pipe has split and once it defrosts all that water sprays out. The damage can be quite extensive and generally will require an insurance claim. For peace of mind do a quick check.
