Laundry tap repair.

This tub tap spindle had been snapped off.

After quickly identifying the tub I was able to pick a new head works for the tap. Isolating the supply I removed the back nut and then the head works. In with the new and a new tap handle and the tub was in good working order. A common thing with the older tubs is the handle has plastic teeth and over time the teeth wear down. This stops the tap being turned on or off. The new handles have a brass insert with teeth so that it is metal on metal. More robust and harder wearing.
